New to riding? This is the class for you. Designed by the Motorcycle Safety Foundation, the Basic RiderCourse (BRC) is the ideal place to begin!
Our mission is to provide the highest level of professional instruction to new and experienced motorcycle and scooter riders. Endorsed by the Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF), our instructors are certified to use the MSF's research-based curriculums to teach the Basic RiderCourse and the Experienced RiderCourse. Both courses focus on the essentials of safe operation and prepare students to fully enjoy the ride!
To take the Basic RiderCourse, you need a valid driver's license and to be at least 18 years of age. If you have an Illinois license, you also need a Motorcycle Permit which you can prepare for by studying the Illinois Motorcycle Operator Manual.
