(SS) $175
Licensing Exam "M" (must be a scooter graduate.) $55
This nationwide program was created by the Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF) to provide hands-on rider training with an
emphasis on safety and skill development. During the school, students learn basic techniques in safely operating a scooter.
Lessons are presented in a controlled environment.
The school begins with the basics: sitting on the scooter, location and operation of the controls and straight–line riding.
When you are ready, you will learn how to ride in circles, make sharp turns, emergency braking, evasive maneuvers/obstacle
avoidance and discuss techniques for riding in traffic.
You’ll also learn about responsible riding practices including risk management and environmental awareness. By the end of
the class you will have a solid understanding of the techniques every two wheeled rider needs to stay safe, act responsibly,
and most importantly, have fun.
In order to be eligible to take the Scooter School (SS) students must meet
the following criteria:
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must have a valid drivers license.
- If you choose to take the 'M' class licensing exam through us you must first obtain a motorcycle permit.
- Must wear proper protective gear (boots, long sleeves, helmet gloves).
Note: Motorcycle Riding School, Inc. reserves the right to dismiss any student
from class who either cannot meet the objectives of the course or becomes a
danger to his or her self, or anyone else during the course. There will be no
refund of any kind issued in this case.
